Lime Spiders licensed into America, Japan and South America

April 1 is the mooted day for intended release of Lime Spiders "Live at the Esplanade" which was licensed off the label to Steelcage Records run by the wonderful Larry and Leslie
At press time there was talk of a tour to the states utilising the promoter who sent Radio Birdman and Hoodoo Gurus over

The live footage from the SPIDERS recent Annandale Hotel (Syd) show has been posted to moshcam.com and the American release of "LIVE AT THE ESPLANADE" through Steel Cage Records is now in production after the usual fine tuning of the cover design. Steel Cage have had a lot of interest in the release, scheduled for mid April...spread the word to your American friends!
Still in the States, the Goo Goo Dolls released "GREATEST HITS VOL 2...B Sides and Rarities" through Warner Bros in Sept '08. This includes both their recorded version of the Spider's classic "SLAVE GIRL" & full tilt live stadium rock version of the song from a concert at RED ROCKS featuring sampling of the original Spiders intro!...THAT song just never dies!
